If there’s on product I love, it’s masks. I find myself doing them quite often. Whether you have dry skin, oily skin, acne prone skin, or redness like myself, there’s a mask for your skin concern. Today I am sharing with you my favorites and the ones that actually make a difference in my skin.
I love love love this moisturizing moon mask ($22) from Glossier; it’s moisturizing, soothing, and it’s fantastic for dry skin, or skin with redness. The ingredients include sweet almond oil, plant-based squalane, and hyaluronic acid help to smooth fine lines and restore elasticity. I even use this sometimes as an overnight mask as well. Let me warn you, I love Glossier’s products, but I don’t necessarily love some of the pictures they choose to represent their products. That is the only downside to the company and their products.
If you buy one mask in this post, buy this one. It’s the Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Facial ($8) No, that’s not a typo, it really is only 8 dollars! This mask is great for acne prone skin. This just does more than any mask I own. You can either mix it with apple cider vinegar, or water. It does’t smell the greatest when you mix it with the vinegar, but it gives you amazing results. This mask draws out all of the toxins that build up in your skin and leaves you with a fresh, smooth complexion. Plus, it will last you a lifetime.
This mask is the Glossier mega greens detoxifying mask ($22), and if you have sensitive skin, or you just don’t want to deal with the smell of the previous mask, this mask is perfect for you. The website says they have paired fresh, nourishing leafy greens with antioxidant superfoods in a base of gentle, purifying white kaolin clay for the ultimate skin detox. It’s just as good as the previous mask, just not as harsh.
If you have redness or an uneven texture, this Origins Retexturizing Mask ($25) with rose clay will be your new best friend. The rose clay really does balance your skin tone. I noticed immediate results with this mask and I think i’m in love! Plus it’s pink!
This Facial Radiance Overnight Mask ($38) is quite different from the other ones because you put it on right before you go to sleep and leave it on overnight. When you wake up, I guarantee you’ll be amazed at how soft your skin is. It’s great for dull skin, dry skin, really any type of skin! I absolutely love the smell of this even though it doesn’t have any artificial fragrance added. It may seem kind of pricey, but I have had this for over a year and i’m not even halfway through it. A little goes a LONG way. I love First Aid Beauty products, but this one is definitely my favorite.
Last but not least, we have the Kaplan MD Lip Mask ($23), I had never even heard of a lip mask until I saw this one in Sephora. My lips are very sensitive and almost anything makes them peel; it’s quite aggravating. This mask is clear and you just put it on like you would a lip balm and leave it on for 5 minutes. It smells amazing, plumps your lips, and smoothes out any lines. It’s seriously a game changer. Plus it comes with an amazing lip balm!
Hope you all enjoyed this post and if you’ve tried any of these, let me know in the comments! Have a great day!
