Mid-July Beauty Review

I can’t believe we only have a couple of weeks left in the month of July. These are not my monthly favorites but they are some new products I have tried out over the past few weeks and I would like to share with you my thoughts. I know a couple of these will be in my monthly favorites coming up, so stay tuned for that!

July Beauty Review

I’ll start with the most expensive thing on this list: The Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist. This mist had so much hype on the YouTube and blogging community and let me start off by saying I like it, but  I don’t know if it’s worth the price tag of $48. This mist does give the skin a nice, dewy look that looks like you’re glowing from within. The packaging is so lovely and you can tell it’s amazing quality. You can check it out HERE

Algenist Melting Cleanser

Algenist Melting Cleanser

This is the Algenist Genius Ultimate Anti-aging Cleanser. Okay, I don’t even know where to start. THIS CLEANSER IS HEAVENLY. Honestly, it’s the best cleanser I have ever used. I could ramble on and on about this, but until you try this for yourself, you’ll never understand. The texture is so different, it’s like a gel but then transforms into an oil on contact with skin, AND THEN transforms into a milky cleanser after you have gently rubbed it in and applied water to your face. When I woke up the next morning, my skin felt better than it ever has before, and I am not exaggerating. Please do your skin a favor and buy this cleanser. You can purchase it HERE

Derma E Hydrating Night Creme

This is the Derma E Hydrating Night Cream. I have only used this three times and I already know this is my new go-to night cream. What I love most about this night cream is that it sinks in very quick so that you don’t feel like you just put a glob of grease on your face, which most night creams that I have do. This also has a very pleasant but faint smell. When I woke up I noticed that my face looked so plump, I literally couldn’t see my fine lines on my forehead at all. This in conjunction with the cleanser I mentioned above are already doing wonders for my skin. You can Purchase it HERE

YSL sheer candy

YSL sheer candy

Next is the YSL Sheer Candy Glossy Lip Balm in #3 Juicy Grapefruit. This was kind of an impulse buy whilst browsing the dreaded Sephora Isles.. I love the lip oils from YSL, so I thought I would love this too. I do like this, but it’s not particularly special in my opinion. I adore the smell of this and it isn’t colored at all. I guess i’m just too picky when it comes to lip products because the skin on my lips is very sensitive and almost anything makes them peel! This doesn’t make them peel at all but considering the price, I think it could be better! Although, the packaging is so pretty that I really just want to look at it on my vanity. You can buy it HERE

St Tropez One Night Only face and body lotion

Okay, we know by now that I like to dabble in the self-tanning department, but this is a game changer for me. It’s the St. Tropez One Night Only body lotion. I love looking dark in the summer, but regular self-tanners just require too much upkeep and end up streaking at the end of it’s course. This comes in a light-medium shade as well. This is more like a lotion. Its not as smooth as a lotion but still fairly easy to blend in. This is perfect for the days and nights you want to be tan, and then wash it off at the end of the day. It also smells nice which is unusual for a tanning product! and gives a very natural color that isn’t orange at ALL. You can purchase it HERE

LAVANILLA The Healthy Deodorant

The Healthy Deodorant

I have been looking for a natural deodorant that actually WORKS for a while now and have tried multiple brands, but with every one I tried I ended up not smelling too great before too long. This is the LAVANILLA Healthy Deodorant. Not only is this one 100% natural, and smells super good, but it WORKS. It does what a normal deodorant does, just without the aluminum, toxins, parabens, and all that jazz. It comes in several different scents like vanilla, lemon, and grapefruit, although I have tried the others and this is the only scent that works for me. You can purchase it HERE

I hope you enjoyed this beauty review and found it helpful. I love skin care and I am so happy that I have something to use to share my thoughts and help you have the best skin you possibly can! Have a blessed day.

I can’t believe we’re so close to August already, too! Really crazy how fast these last few months have flown by for me. I’ve never tried a lip oil from YSL. I think for me personally I wouldn’t spend the money on YSL if it were not tinted. I really love Glossier’s Coconut Balm Dotcom and that’s $12.. Seriously a dream lip moisturizer. I’ve been looking for a “healthy” deodorant too, and I’ve head some great things about this one and some bad things. Do the other scents not work, or is it just that you don’t like them that much? I think I’d be happiest with Lemon but if you think the Vanilla works better then I will get that instead!!!

    Much Love!!

I’ll have to try that lip balm! I tried the vanilla and it did not mask the smell at all, but the vanilla coconut does (for me anyway). I also have heard the same thing from other people, but I would say try the lemon! You never know 🙂 I would like to try the grapefruit!

That deodorant looks great! I use a natural one at the moment, and it’s great, but I’d prefer a roll-on or spray version, which they don’t have. I think I’ll check that one out!
