Leahlani Skincare Kalima Cleansing Powder Review

I didn’t have that high of expectations for this product when purchasing it. It’s a cleansing powder. I have tried multiple ones from different brands. While most of them work perfectly fine, none had really amazed me yet. That is, until I tried Kalima ($46). This may seem expensive, but this cleansing powder will truly last you for such a long time!

I’ll start out with the scent. For some reason, the scent reminds me of Fruity Pebbles! Yes, the cereal! Just like the name suggests, It does smell like creamy coconuts, but it also smells very fruity. I absolutely love it.

I like to keep this product in my shower, so I don’t have to worry about being messy. I pour some into my hand and then add a small amount of water and rub together. Once I mix the product with water, it turns into a mousse consistency. I then massage it onto my face and just enjoy every moment of it. I like to leave this on my face to dry for a couple of minutes before rinsing off, which just multiplies the benefits.

When this product is rinsed off, I am left with baby-soft skin every single time. If you have sensitive skin like yours truly, you may be hesitant to try physical exfoliators. Trust me when I say this cleansing powder is very gentle. This doesn’t irritate my skin whatsoever!  If you have post acne scars, this product is great for targeting those as well. I have had some on my chin since high school, and since using this product, they have faded drastically! It seriously is such a great product.

One thing I have noticed about this cleansing powder is that I prefer to use a pretty big amount each use so that it covers my entire face. Which, it’s fine with me because it will still last me for quite some time because of the size of the glass bottle.

Some of the key ingredients are:

Organic coconut milk, organic brown rice powder, kaolin clay, organic wildcrafted whole guava fruit, and organic hibiscus flower

How amazing do those sound?!

Which Leahlani product do you recommend I start with? I’m currently using a Neutrogena product but I want to go organic. A face wash and/or mask or cream suggestions would be appreciated. 🙂

I would say to start out with the bless balm for sure! It sinks in so fast and you can use it lightly in the morning or heavy at night! It smells heavenly, too! Iwould have to say for the second product, either the mermaid mask or the champagne serum! both are equally amazing!!
