Leahlani Mermaid Mask Review & Demo

Leahlani Mermaid Mask Review & Demo

I’m sure most of you, by now, have figured out that I am a massive Leahlani Skincare fan. Her famous Mermaid Mask is a cult favorite in the green beauty world, and I cannot believe I waited so long to try it. It’s a $32 pot of pure heaven. The tagline on the jar is “superfood for your skin” and that couldn’t be any more true.

First off, the color of this mask alone is so unique and beautiful. Personally, I have never seen a skin care product with such a stunning emerald-green color. Also, that color is achieved from organic chlorella and organic spirulina, NOT artificial dyes. All of Leah’s products are made from the soil and nectar of Hawaii and being someone who has always wanted to visit Hawaii, that makes each product even more special to me.

The consistency is very hard at first. What I do is stir the product with a tiny spatula, then put some in a ceramic bowl. Here, you can do different things. Either you can add a few drops of water until you reach your desired consistency, or you can add a few drops of your favorite Leahlani serum or elixir! I add about a full pump of the champagne serum, and that makes it smell absolutely delicious. Leah likes to add in a couple of drops of the siren serum, and that is definitely on my list!

Once you apply it to your face, you will notice something somewhat strange, but amazing. Leah stated that your skin will literally begin to drink it up! It is so neat! I leave it on for 20-30 minutes and wash off with lukewarm water and pat dry. My skin feels like a baby’s bottom afterwards. Also, I notice that my skin tone is so much more even! It calms my redness like no other mask has. Lastly, the Mermaid Mask purifies my skin without drying it out, and that is usually a difficult task for a mask to do.

What I am basically trying to say is that this mask is worth every single penny of $32 and completely worth all of it’s hype. This is a mask that I know will last me such a long time, and I know that I will continue to adore it more and more. If you want to seriously pamper your skin without paying the outrageous prices of most green beauty products, please do yourself a favor and purchase this mask!
