Hello again, everyone! Today I want to talk all about my favorite beauty products for the month of March. Since I have so many products, I’ll try to not ramble on and on about each product! Let’s go ahead and get into my favorites.
I’m going to start with the Invisible Tan ($39.95) organic self-tanner from EcoTan. I wanted to talk about this product first because it is definitely my ‘favorite’ of the favorites. I have countless tried self-tanners and never found one that I adored, until now that is. When it comes to consistency, I prefer lotions over mousse because I find that I usually end up streaky with mousse.
My favorite thing about the Invisible Tan is that it does NOT stain my white sheets. I apply right after getting out of the shower when my skin is clean and dry. I start at my feet and work all the way up to my neck. When I say that I get absolutely no streaks from this product, I am telling the truth. I end up with a very nice tan that isn’t orange whatsoever. This tan lasts close to a week for me. Also, It fades very nicely.
The only negative that I have with this product is that it does have that “fake tan smell”. It’s definitely noticeable, but I am getting more use to it each time. I wash it off first thing in the morning, so it’s not like other people are going to smell it. That is, besides your spouse if you have one. Also, you definitely need to pay extra attention to your hands and feet when applying and exfoliate the day before using it. You can watch Jaclyn Hill’s Sunless Tanning Routine video if you want to know how I do mine, they’re very similar!
I am so extremely excited that I have now been introduced to the amazing world of essential oils. Not just any oils, Young Living essential oils! I did a lot of research, and decided that I wanted to give Young Living my $$ instead of doTERRA. When a lovely lady named Hillary emailed me about the oils, I knew I wanted to go on this journey her. She has so much knowledge about the oils, and truly has so much faith in the oils. Also, she has so much faith in God and that is just another reason why I love her!
Anyway, I met up with her and she talked to me about the oils and a few of the Young Living products. I ordered the starter kit that comes with a diffuser. I seriously felt like a kid on Christmas Morning when my package arrived. I have been trying them out for a few weeks now and I have to say that Lavender and Stress Away are my favorites. I diffuse them both together every night before I go to sleep and they run throughout the night. I am instantly calmed down and it really helps me to be ready for bed and sleep through the night without waking up. The scent of both the oils combined is absolutely heaven. I am so excited to share this journey with you all as I get more familiar with the oils.
If you want to sign up with Young Living, (you totally should) here’s the link to do so! You will not regret it! https://www.youngliving.com/vo/#/signup/new-start
I have mentioned this One Love Organics Vitamin B Cleansing Oil ($42) in one of my previous posts. I ran out of it and didn’t repurchase right away, but this past month I bought it again and reminded myself of why I adore it so much! Guys… This smells like no other beauty product out there. It’s tropical, fruity, sweet, and is probably tied with my beloved Honey Mud for the best-smelling beauty product I own.
I massage one pump onto dry skin and then wet my hands and massage again. After I am done massaging, I rinse thoroughly and am left with baby soft skin.
This Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange Dry Body Oil ($10) is one of my new favorite body oils and it is affordable! The scent of this oil is absolutely to die for and it leaves my skin so soft and moisturized. I gave a more in depth review of this in my Current Drugstore Favorites blog post, so you can read that to find out more!
This Alba Botanica Kukui Nut Body Cream ($9) is the other favorite body moisturizer of mine at the moment! If you like deep, warm, nutty scents, you will definitely love this! I took it with me on my cruise a few weeks ago, and since it contains Aloe Vera, it seriously helped soothe my sunburnt legs caused from surfing all day.
I don’t have much to say about this Geranium + White Tea Mist ($8) other than it is just a really nice face mist. It smells delightful and totally refreshes my skin throughout the day, and wakes it up in the mornings.
As you can see, I really enjoyed this Tata Harper Purifying Mask ($65) this past month because it is completely gone. I have never went through a skin care product so fast. The fact that I used it on 7 of my friends when we had a little spa night might have aided in that a bit. I have the full review of this product here, and if you want to purchase it at Tata’s website you can click on this link to get $25 off if you spend a $100!
This Starry Eyes Eye Cream from the Good Medicine Beauty Lab has been my go-to eye cream for the past month and a half. I just ordered this little sample size ($10) and it is lasting me for such a long time! I love the scent of it and it truly does brighten my under-eye and make me look more awake in the morning. What’s not to love?!
As you can see, I have really been loving these two Good Medicine Beauty Lab Products. The Clarity Face Cream ($32) is definitely another winner. I love how this cream is super moisturizing, but sinks in so fast and leaves your skin looking matte. Sometimes I don’t really want to look super glowy and shiny! This is perfect for those days, and sometimes I even layer an oil over top. This cream smells incredible and is a perfect all-around facial moisturizer for me.
I hope you enjoyed my March Favorites! Tell me in the comments some of the natural beauty products that you have been loving lately. I am always looking for new recommendations! Have a great day, everyone.
