It’s been a while since I have done a skin care review, so today I will be reviewing a few products from OSEA Malibu, which is vegan products from the sea and made in the USA! I had been wanting to try this natural skin care brand out for a while and I finally did. I am really enjoying the brand so far! Let’s jump into the review.
I’ll go ahead and get this product out of the way since it isn’t included in the kit. The white algae mask is supposed to correct uneven skin tones, soothe redness, while also firm and lift the skin. This mask is great for dull skin. I left this on, the first time, for around 10 minutes and after washing off, I noticed a difference immediately. My skin was definitely more “glowy” I guess you could say! Sense I have only used this a few times, I haven’t really noticed it combatting my redness on my cheeks, but I will definitely check back in and after a few more times using this mask!
This sea vitamin boost has definitely been the most used out of all of these products. I’m already half-way through the bottle! This mist is so soothing. Also, because of the organic patagonian gigartina algae, this mist aids in cell renewal! This mist isn’t going to perform miracles or anything, but it is so nice and refreshing. I absolutely love it.
The first time I used the ocean cleansing milk, I wasn’t a fan. The second time however, I really enjoyed it. I think the trick for me was massaging it into dry skin instead of damp. I massage it in really well, and then rinse with warm water. It smells nice and makes my face feel really clean which is uncommon with cleansing milks. I definitely give this a thumbs up!
This undaria argan oil is nice, but it comes in this tiny roller ball glass bottle. I have never understood face products that come in roller balls. For me, I want to use oils all over my face and this makes that not so easy to do. The oil doesn’t come out very easily. I have to roll it all around my face to get the most product out as possible and then spread it around with my fingers. Maybe I am just being too particular, but I would like this much more if it had a pump or just a regular lid. As for the oil itself, it did make my face feel smooth and supple, but I can’t say that it’s my favorite that I have tried and I also can’t say that it is worth $32 for .34 ounces… That is totally just my opinion though. The Leahlani Elixirs will always be my go-to oils. 🙂
The advanced protection cream is a great every day moisturizer for mature, dry, and sensitive skin. It has a wonderful texture that is very silky on the skin and it also has a pleasant smell. It did moisturize my skin, but not as well as my Pai Avocado and Jojoba Oil day cream (which is on sale). 🙂
I hope you enjoyed this short review of the rosacea/sensitive skin travel kit and the white algae mask! If you have any questions about skin care, I would love to answer them! Just click on my contact page and go to “ask Courtney”. Thank you all for reading and have a blessed day!
